Richard Gillin, longtime professor of English, has two granddaughters! Chip '98 and Erin Gillin '99 Merrick welcomed Olivia Talbot Merrick on September 20, 2006. Aine Claire Fitzgibbon, the daughter of Frank and Courtney Gillin Fitzgibbon '01 M'04, was born July 28, 2007.

Ted '97 and Catherine '99 Knight are pleased to announce the birth of Noah Watts Knight, born on June 10, 2007. Noah and Catherine are doing well, and Charlotte is very proud to be a big sister.

Rebekah Beckett Land '03 and Eric Land welcomed a daughter, Ruth Mara Land, born March 20, 2007 in Anchorage, AK.

McNair Mae Shannahan was born February 2, 2007. She is the daughter of John '95 and Melissa Shannahan.

Colin Louis Stone '04 and his wife, Kate Dowling '02, welcomed a son, Gabriel Cypress Stone, on July 15, 2007. Gabriel is the grandson of the late Ronald Paul Berry Sr. '97 and Jean Berry Smith, who works in the College's admission office.
