JENNIFER HEWSON notes, "I'm writing this update as I sit in my house in New Orleans for the first time since August 27—four months ago. Katrina sent Tulane School of Medicine packing to Houston where Baylor and other medical schools hosted us. I did two rotations there and am back to finish my third year in New Orleans. Our house is okay, and I'm just ready to get back to a sense of normalcy. I've slept in nine beds, in eight states, in four months! And talk about lucky—I moved two weeks before Katrina, and my old apartment had five feet of water. I just hope the WC community keeps the people of the Gulf Coast in their hearts."
