Don't be fooled by the sterile hallways of Goldstein Hall or Toll Science Center. The personalities of Washington College professors are much in evidence once you open their office doors. Don Munson's place is a veritable museum of natural history, featuring an impressive collection of hunting and fishing memorabilia. Martin Connaughton's toy collection includes some Star Wars figures he owned as a child. Anne Massoni continues a family tradition rooted in her grandfather's postcard factory: a fascination with the language and art of postcards. Lisa Noetzel is a punk rock fan in any language. Rick Striner collects (and wears) vintage fashions from the 1930s and 1940s. Students visiting Jim Siemen enjoy "the pause that refreshes." If they're feeling particularly stressed, they just focus on the lava lamp.
